Computing

Web: Editing, creating web pages in Front Page and some basic Dreamweaver. Can edit some basic HTML

Access:  Create, update and maintain tables, queries and reports. Maintained Supplier Profile Database for Procurement organization at Boeing. The database was used for communication between the procurement organization and suppliers. Went from a more manual approach to an online and email system.

Imported training schedules at the University of Washington internal training department, to Access tables,

At Boeing I created finance reports, data base management, and queries. Used access to track employment office billables and control charges being submitted vs. charges hitting the budget from finance. Creating queries and reports for finance/business planning manager and department managers.

Convert from ICRS (proprietary IBM main frame) to Access to the Intranet Web site.

Excel: Create and edit tables, graphs, and timelines. From setting up worksheets to troubleshooting. Used to working with multiple tables and summing 8 budgets at a time,  working with macros Also used Excel for floor plan layout of department, make editable seating arrangement.

Power Point: Create flow charts, budget summaries and EAC’s (Estimate at completion) in Power Point on a quarterly basis. Using Power Point to convert Charts to HTML. Creating Presentation for finance and employment managers

Visio: Created flow charts and department org charts in VISIO. Created flow charts for 8 departments and summary.

Html, Web editing: Created hiring charts for employment office, converting from ICRS to Power Point to the employment Intranet Website. Created Managers Web pages, providing FAQ’s details and budget details on the Manager’s Home page. Eliminated View Foils and put the Manager’s weekly presentations on server for use in the weekly meetings.

Finance

Work closely with Business Planning Manager to update and maintain 8 budgets and summaries on a monthly basis. Provide Headcount summaries and updates for staff from 200-80 employees.

Assist in controlling of expenses to reduce excesses and save on headcount reduction. Establish tracking system to control miscellaneous expenses and have submitted items equal Items actually applied to the budget from finance.

Medical Terminology, Claims Processing, Insurance Terminology

I have 20 years of claims processing experience, including medical terminology and insurance terminology, interpretation of contracts, coordinating detailed information between customers both Private and Professional (Insured members to HR Personnel to claims Personnel).

People Skills

Procurement: Focal for change incorporation requests of major airplane manufacturer for Commercial Airplanes division. Worked with Change Board, Buyers and schedulers to help everyone follow the process. Assist schedulers in coming online to the new tracking system and reduce cycle time and delinquencies by 90 % on a consistent basis. Facilities and computing focal for staff of 200+ procurement and finance people including support staff. Able to work with move and provide support during, before and after the move. Used Access to update and maintain supplier profile database. This Database was used for supplier mailings and other contacts between buyers and suppliers.

 Employment: In Employment I worked with 8 managers and senior director providing support for charts, graphs and headcount as well as budget reporting. Obtain and convey information between departments and business planning manager. Maintain strict confidentiality in sensitive matters.

Claims: Handle questions and answer phone calls as well as provide professional service to the subscribers of our medical plans. Provide and implement a tracking system for submission of re-insurance claims, to improve turn around time and get claims processed in a timely manner. Request and obtain missing medical information from subscribers or providers.

Worked with Doctors, Nurses and people from all walks of life. Explained reason for denials and reduced payments to HR Personnel or subscribers.
